By using OpenSheets, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the software.

The Software

OpenSheets is an open source AI assistant for spreadsheets. It is provided free of charge under the MIT License.

No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption in your spreadsheets
  • Incorrect calculations or AI-generated content
  • Any decisions made based on the software's output
  • Service interruptions or unavailability

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing any changes the AI makes before applying them
  • Backing up your data
  • Complying with your AI provider's terms of service
  • Using the software in accordance with applicable laws

Third-Party Services

OpenSheets integrates with third-party AI providers. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the software constitutes acceptance of any changes.
